Our journey begins

First leg done. We arrived at the super8 ohare about 9:00 after driving the church van and uhaul trailer from LeRoy. We negotiated the tolls ok. It was kinda fun watching the new hs grads and returning college students reconnecting. The first indication that this is not a high school/junior high trip is that we coulndn't agree on what to eat and at was ok. Some ordered take out chinese, but the really cool ones ordered pizza from Lou Malnati's (when in Rome). The scariest thing I heard was a few wanting to pull "all-nighters". Now playing cards in the lobby. We have to catch the shuttle in 4 hours & 20 mins. To get to ohare for a flight leaving at 5:30. Then 2 hour flight to Miami, 3 hour layover, 3 hour flight to Guatemala City, then 3 hour bus ride through the mountains on third world country roads (no tolls, I assume). That last 3 hour leg includes needed stops for motion sickness! Thanks for your continued prayers!! Bob
